Please note, do not replace your piercing until it is 100% healed! Each piercing can have a different system. For example, you have the click and twist system. It depends on which system how you unscrew the piercings. Always wash your hands before unscrewing a piercing, this way you keep bacteria away. How to loosen a piercing with ball?<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

When piercing with a ball it is largely always run<\/strong>. You take hold of the piercing along the back and front with your thumb and forefinger and gently twist the ball until the piercing is loose. There is only one type of piercing with ball that has a click system and that is with a nostril<\/strong>. In doing so, you take hold of the piercing in the same method but here you are going to gently unclip the piercing.<\/p>\n

How does a piercing with a chain work and how do you loosen the piercing?<\/h2>\n

A necklace (coming soon to our webshop <\/a>and physical shop available) has 2 small rings along both sides<\/strong>. There are also chains with a ring on 1 side so that the chain hangs down from the piercing. These can be hung from a piercing ring or from a labret piercing <\/strong>are attached. They are often used as faux orbital.<\/strong> Then we place a labret piercing in the conch. On the one hand, at the back of the ear, the ring of the chain is placed between the flat disc of the labret and the ear<\/em> and on the other hand on the inside between the ear and the top (which comes on the labret). <\/em><\/p>\n

A chain adds extra weight to the piercing. For this reason, we like to wait about 3 months until the piercing is mostly in the healing process to loosen the piercing. When loosening a piercing with a chain, you must proceed with caution. If you open the labret piercing, the chain falling off<\/strong>. So pay attention to this!<\/p>\n

How to loosen a piercing with a flat back?<\/h2>\n

You take hold of the piercing along the flat back with your thumb and forefinger. Then gently twist the piercing ball (or other gem) until the piercing is loose.<\/p>\n
