Inksane ear curations
Just as the curator in a museum picks out his collection of paintings, our piercing artists are going to curate the perfect jewelry combination that matches your ear and your (life) style.
Find out below how we work and what awaits you during your curation appointment.
Our method:
STYLING
We do a color analysis of your hair-eye and skin color, and so determine with you whether you are more likely to fit with 14K gold or implant grade titanium (silver color).
Your own style will also be scrutinized: do you like big statement pieces, or do you prefer something more minimalist that needs to fit especially well?
You don't have to do anything, our questions guide you through a little thought process.
Our materials

14k Gold
Our gold jewelry consists entirely of 14k gold, and thus is never a coating or PVD over any other kind of material.
24K gold is solid gold, but this would be too soft for these small piercing gems, causing quick scratches. 18K is an extension of 24K gold and 14K gold is back an extension of 18K and so on.
14K has the ideal hardness for piercing jewelry.

Implant Grade Titanium
Our ASTMF-136 Implant Grade Titanium jewelry consists entirely of this one material, and thus is never a coating on top of anything else.
This same material is what they use in surgery for implants, and thus was tested by professionals for years.
Titanium can be anodized to different colors.

Anti-allergic
Our choice to work only with these two materials stems from our anti-allergic principle. Our 14K gold and titanium never contains nickel, or other materials that can trigger allergic reactions.
So those who prefer gold color can choose from 14K gold, or anodized titanium that assumes a gold color.
We work with expert suppliers from all over the world to ensure the best quality in materials.
Not only the choice of material, but also the polishing degree is very important in piercings.
If a surface that has to pass through your skin was not polished very smoothly, this is a microscopic breeding ground for bacteria that can cause your piercing to never 100% heal, not smell good or remain itchy.
With e.g. rings and bracelets, this is not important because they do not pass through an open wound.

An ear curation sometimes happens in several steps
Per appointment we pierce a maximum of 3 holes in your ear, to ensure smooth healing.
If you want more than 3 extra holes, they will be spread over several appointments.
It is also possible that, for your pain threshold, you only want 1 hole at a time.
For most ear piercings, it is also better to wait until your piercing is healed to put a ring in it.
For budget reasons, we can choose to spread the whole curation over several months. Then on your first appointment you can already pick out the jewelry and we will keep it aside for you.
Can't find your complete curation among our current collection? Then ordering is also possible. Our piercer knows perfectly which complement for your ear can still be found from which supplier.
After your appointment, you will go home with:

New piercing(s)
During your ear curation appointment, you will already have at least 1 piercing inserted and/or 3 new pieces of jewelry selected.

Color consultation
Are you a summer, spring, fall or winter type, and therefore a better fit with gold or titanium?
If you also like to implement gems in your curation, then you also immediately know which (color) is ideal here.
This color analysis is also useful for your next haircutting visit or shopping trip.

Aftercare
You will receive a comprehensive aftercare explanation from us. You will also receive a brochure to read at home.
Most ear piercings also require a downsize appointment. Because initially, you get too long a rod to allow swelling.

A plan
The further holes to be pierced, and the purchase/order of additional jewelry is usually scheduled in phases
Price?
Most ear piercings cost 35€ to place + the cost of the gem.
A jewel costs a minimum of 15€ (titanium). The most expensive jewel in our collection is currently 572€ (14K gold).
An aftercare costs 10€ for a small bottle and 15€ for a large one.
The color consultation and entire guidance is a service we offer free of charge, so that our clients walk out with the most beautiful Inksane artwork.
An example of a classic curation is someone who comes for 1 extra hole, and above that has his 3 existing holes upgraded with new cohesive jewels.
