This is Nele
24-year-old Nele Hellin came to Inksane to get a daith piercing. This is a piercing that goes through the cartilage of the inner rim of the auricle. She loves ear piercings, her first one was in no less than 10 years ago. She hopes to one day have an ear full of jewelry on display. Even though her parents are not fans of the whole piercing idea, she decided to go after her feelings. The biggest reason Nele chose a daith is that the piercing would help against migraines. This has not been scientifically proven (yet), but she jumped into the deep end nonetheless. In addition to her desk job, Nele likes to release her creative spirit by painting and doing puzzles. On the other hand, she also likes to seek out action by occasionally playing tennis or padel.

Stressed at first, but quickly reassured
A week before Nele came to Inksane, she had done some research on the daith piercing. She was pretty quickly convinced and immediately had online make an appointment. made. Despite her collection of ear piercings, Nele still had some stress on the important day. Stepping into the shop, she immediately felt welcomed by Anke's warm welcome. Doing what makes you happy
Nele herself is a big fan of piercings, but her parents think differently. In the beginning, Nele worried about what others thought of her piercings, but she has since let go of that insecurity. "I even used to secretly get a piercing, but my parents never noticed. Now I'm almost 25 and I don't really care what people say about it." Now she realizes that she feels it is important to follow her own passions and do what makes herself happy when she looks in the mirror. "You only have one life, definitely don't let others stop you if it's something you really want for yourself."
Maybe a tattoo?
In the future, there is a chance that Nele will return to Inksane. She told us she is considering maybe getting a tattoo. How or what she does not yet know, but she is not ruling out the option. "Now that I know how everything goes here, I would definitely come back to Inksane if I were to get a tattoo." Nele believes it is important for a tattoo to have meaning, which is why she is still leaving her thoughts on what she would like to get and why. In addition, she is a fan of something small and subtle. Because she works a desk job, she is somewhat afraid that others would be prejudiced against her if they see that she has a tattoo. Anyway, it's not something for now "I'll wait for that until I'm out of the house," she laughs.
Why is Inksane the go-to to get a piercing?
"I was surprised of how closely they follow hygiene regulations. The shop is orderly and all the equipment was clean. I didn't even know there was a machine to make everything sterile. Besides the hygiene, I would definitely come back for the customer service! Everything was explained so well and time is really taken to put you at ease."
