  1. Does putting a nipple piercing on a woman hurt a lot? I don't really know what to expect ... it's quite a threshold.

  2. I myself had my nipple piercings pierced a month ago (1 by Anke and the other by her apprentice, Jelle) in Roeselare.
You have to know somewhere your own pain tolerance and nevertheless know that, specifically for nipple piercings, this can still vary from person to person. I myself have never suffered from pain regarding tattoos and all other piercings that I have. Even e.g. at the dentist, I can handle the pain very easily.
Now, for the nipple piercings, this was a different story. I'm not saying this to scare anyone, by no means! I just want to explain that you can't know unless you let go of the fear and just go for it. ;)
Now yes, the first day and the moment itself was honestly admittedly really not pleasant. However, because I wasn't stressing about the pain beforehand (because I was convinced it would be nothing), it was easier for me to deal with it and not focus on it. I had them anyway, I've had to go through the pain anyway, might as well just push through until the pain is gone and then enjoy something I've wanted for so long. ;)
Also just know (whoever is reading this), if you have low tolerance for pain it may as well be that they are nevertheless not as bad as you think/expect. Nipple piercings are hard to estimate in terms of pain, but on the other hand, it is somewhere positive since you just have to go for it because otherwise you don't know.
I recommend just doing it once! Afterwards, you will sit with a "fulfillment" feeling and be proud of yourself for having done it. I had that anyway. :)
Furthermore, in terms of the healing, you also have to be mentally prepared that the gene are easy but they can be forgiving if you just take care of how to do it. Everything is in your own hands!
In terms of healing time it can take from 1 to 2 years, it all depends on many factors (how fast your body heals wounds in general, how consistent you are with aftercare, etc...). That sounds scary and long, but after a month or two you notice pretty much nothing because the pain should be pretty much completely gone. After 3 weeks I could move mine back and forth without pain! It is in waves though, you may feel more pain for few days back and it goes away again completely, same about swelling. But all that is much better once you are working on it and I can promise you that!
    grts, Val ;)
