What is a medusa piercing?

Medusa piercings or also called philtrum piercings called are placed in the dimple between your upper lip and nose. The name medusa is a reference to a Greek figure in mythology. Philtrum refers to the place where the piercing is put, namely through the philtrum. You can compare this piercing to a labret piercing since the gem is the same. It is a rod with a small metal ball or other fancy jewel on the front and a flat disc on the inside. The only difference is that a medusa piercing is placed above the lip.

How to unscrew a medusa piercing?

We recommend that you use the lip piercing do not unscrew yourself! The reason for this is because everything in the lip grows close quickly. Without proper knowledge, it can go wrong.
